Investigating the Horse Trail Riding Potential in Georgia

Speaker:

Kent Wolfe
Marketing Specialist
UGA Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development

Description:
I propose a presentation that would deliver the results of a statewide survey implemented to obtain information on Georgia's horse trail riders. The data is very valuable in that it provides information on how far riders are willing to travel, what amenities they are looking for, what they are currently paying for riding and camping facilities and much more information. Horse ownership is rapidly growing in Georgia and nationwide and farmers need to be aware of associated opportunities. A presentation evaluation will be administered to determine the usefulness of the presentation
