About Us

Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement

USDA’s Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement (OPPE) develops and maintains partnerships focused on solutions to challenges facing rural and underserved communities in the United States, and connects those communities to the education, tools, and resources available to them through U.S. Department of Agriculture programs and initiatives.

USDA’s Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement launched the Centers of Community Prosperity initiative to increase effective customer service and connect rural and underserved communities to USDA resources. provides farmers, ranchers, private foresters, and agricultural producers with online self-service applications, educational materials, engagement opportunities, and business tools to increase efficiency and productivity while preserving and fostering long-held traditional relationships between local USDA offices and producers. Farmers can create an account that allows you to access self-service features and information that are available through a secure login. With an account, you can use features such as the ability to apply for select programs online, process transactions, and manage your USDA records.
