Some Final Notes to convey to students:
  • Have full contact information available
  • Set and keep regular business hours
  • Check – out functions should be secure
  • Shipping charges should be clearly listed
  • Customer e-mails and phone calls should be returned promptly
  • Packaging should be sturdy to protect crafted item and should always be professional in appearance
  • Check the local rules and regulations on sales tax

** Remember Artisans are a diverse group, with a diverse set of skills and know how. Each brings to the table a certain amount of creativity, imagination and innovation to any work group.
