In 2005, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation partnered with the National Coalition for Rural Entrepreneurship and the Regional Rural Development Centers to host a series of listening sessions involving entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial service providers. The goals of these sessions were to find out what is currently working and what other services or products are needed, as well as to determine what makes a community entrepreneur-friendly.
The results of the Southern region's listening sessions are linked below.
The results of the listening sessions from across the country are available on the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship's website at http://www.ruraleship.org.
