The Kentucky — Tennessee Institute for Sustainable Development (KTISD) is a multi-session (April 3-5, 2002 and October 23-25, 2002) educational inservice opportunity open to Extension agents interested in beginning or expanding community capacity building and economic development programs.  Its purpose is to provide an indepth exposure of community and economic development topics.  This is a joint inservice educational program offered by Tennessee Extension (The University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension Service and the Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension Program and Kentucky Cooperative Extension (University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and Kentucky State University Cooperative Extension Program).

The KTISD is divided into two tracts:  capacity building and economic development.  Participants should register for one of these tracts.
