Dozens of video and print publications were produced during the demonstration phase of RCCI. All were designed to build the capacity of practitioners and community groups as they addressed the challenge of increasing opportunities for people living in distressed rural communities. The RCCI Toolkit is the centerpiece of the collection, with materials relating to team building, strategic planning and strategy implementation. Other video/print packages provide helpful information on economic summits, economic development in tribal areas, fundraising, and what it takes to sustain a long-term community change project. Clips from several of the RCCI videos will stimulate discussion about ways the video and print materials can be used by new RCCI sites to jumpstart their learning and RCCI work. Veteran RCCI sites will learn about recently released materials for continued capacity building, including a package on benchmark practices for small and rural institutions that highlights innovations from the RCCI demonstration.
