Rural Community College Alliance presents:

Revitalizing Rural Economies
October 6-8, 2003 • San Antonio, Texas

PROPOSAL
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Submission deadline is Monday, July 7

Workshops
The workshops are intended to enhance the skills and broaden the prospective of attendees. They should be designed to introduce a rigorous framework for learning a new area or to provide advanced training in an area or best practice. Individual and panel workshops are welcome.

Submissions will be selected on the basis of the presenters' qualifications for demonstrating/sharing the proposed workshop and their contribution to the overall conference program.

We have blocks of one hour, and we suggest that presenters include 10 minutes for questions and answers.

Panel Workshops
A panel offers an opportunity for 3-5 people (including the chair) to present views or results on a common theme, issue or question and discuss them with the audience. Panels should cover timely topics related to the conference themes. Panel selection will be based on the importance, originality, focus and timeliness of the topic; expertise of proposed panelists; and the potential for informative (and even controversial) discussion. Panels should allow 10 minutes for questions and answers.

Submission Requirements
Proposals must include:

  • Description of the topic, including why it is important to RCCA conference attendees; no more than 75 words.
  • Name(s) of presenters, addresses of all presenters, including email, phone numbers and affiliation. If more than one presenter, please specify role of each presenter.
  • List of equipment needs.

Submit all proposals by completing the web form. The submission deadline is Monday, July 7. For more information, contact:
