The conference begins on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. and ends at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 5. The registration fee is $145 for RCCA members and $175 for nonmembers if received before the early bird deadline of Wednesday, Sept. 15. Groups from the same college/community can save when registering together. This fee covers all materials, meeting expenses and meals. Checks should be made payable to the Southern Rural Development Center. Registration refunds will be made for cancellations made at least three working days prior to the training. The RCCA Conference will be held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578. Attached to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Myrtle Beach Business District just two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and two blocks from Broadway at the Beach, the resort's largest entertainment and shopping complex.
A block of rooms has been reserved for the group "Southern Rural Development Center." Rates are $99 single/double if booked by the priority date of Wednesday, Sept. 15. Reservation requests received after the cutoff date will be accepted on a space available basis at the prevailing rate. Participants should make their own reservations by calling the hotel directly at (843) 918-5000.
