Accelerating Jobs and Innovation through Community and Economic Development in Rural Mississippi is a recently funded federal grant received by a coalition of Mississippi State University (MSU) entities with the mission of developing and implementing critical activities and programs leading to stronger communities and more competitive industry clusters. Expected impacts of the program include the retention and creation of more than 500 jobs and an accompanying economic development impact of over $30 million including private investment and cost savings within the state of Mississippi.

The channels through which the program goals and objectives will be achieved include strengthening communities, growing companies, developing entrepreneurs, and expanding manufacturing clusters
