A prepared workforce is one of the most critical issues facing communities today and in the future. Preparing the workforce requires a multi-faceted approach that brings together individuals, employers, government, and communities. Forming strong and effective collaborations is key for states and counties to attract, retain and develop talented people for their workforce. The purpose of this conference is to build and strengthen the capacity of individuals and organizations supporting workforce development at both the state and county levels. Participants will be offered through keynote speakers, workshops, and round tables discussions the tools, models, partnerships, and applied research needed to make a significant impact on workforce development issues in their communities and states.
