What to Include in Your Site

Homepage
A nice, inviting picture on the homepage.  The layout should be easy to use and not complicated.  Don’t put too much information on here!  Bulleted lists are a nice way to include certain “key words” that search engines look for and also summarize what it is that you do.  Use the other pages for more detailed information.

Basic overview of your business

About us (background information)
Background information page is a nice place to put a picture of yourself and your business, and tell about your history.  People are more likely to do business with someone that they can put a face to.

Product/Service Information
Provide as much information about your products/services as you can.  Pictures are great if possible, testimonials from customers even better.

Contact information/maps
Put the contact information on EVERY page of your Web site – nothing draws a customer away like not being able to find this information when they are interested in your product!  Having a separate contact page is fine, but most Web pages will have this information everywhere (sometimes in smaller print near the bottom or top of the page).

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!
