Group Think

Now that we know about successful e-commerce businesses we should think about examples in our own communities. On the bottom of your Rewards worksheet, work with your group to list people you know that have taken advantages of e-Commerce and can act as local role models!

 

 

Here are some things to think about:

• Neighbors who produce and sell products on a small scale for "extra cash"
• Entrepreneurial small farmers who engage in truck farming activities
• People who participate in local farmers markets
• Persons who are known to make special products such as jams, jellies, toys, quilts or other craft products

Stop and Think

Do you know anyone who has sold products on the Internet?
A Family members, neighbors, work colleagues or friends?
How did they do it?
What Web site or auction site(s) did they use?
Did they make money?
