Now available for free online as a PDF or eBook! The open-access volume examines how local leaders across the U.S.—especially in rural, low-income, and Indigenous communities—are working to close the digital divide. This book includes a chapter from Dr. John Green, Dr. Roseanne Scammahorn, and Dr. Roberto Gallardo, whose expertise enriches the discussion. The Southern Rural Development Center is proud to honor Dr. Hunter P. Goodman as the 2025 recipient of the Bonnie Teater Community Development Early Career Achievement Award. In August 2021, Dr. Goodman was named as Assistant Professor of Community Workforce and Economic Development with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture (UADA).
