Content Development
As with everything else, there can be "too many cooks in the kitchen."
Now that the categories have been identified, take the time to link them with a chairperson and members of a sub-committee.
Sourcing the content for each of the identified categories should not be the responsibility of one individual, especially if this is truly a community activity and not someone’s full time job.
A point person should be identified for each of the categories. If subject matter is important, be certain to include people that specialize in that area or folks that have a particular passion/expertise. These people may not be part of the original core group, but they should ensure that all of the desired content is developed and made available to the site designer.
The work of the sub-committee begins in the next section. Right now, the job at hand is to make certain that each of these sub-committees have the “right” people involved. That is your homework!
