Making Sales on Other Websites
Believe it or not, you do not need to make sales on your own website. You may be able to use other websites to sell your products. So-called "on-line malls" allow you to sell your products through someone else's storefront. In some ways, it is like a consignment shop in cyberspace. The mall owner, in most cases, will provide the sellers with
- tools to establish and maintain your shop,
- credit card processing and security,
- advertising to get people to the mall, and
- the ability to interface easily with on-line auction services, such as ebay.
The mall's fees may differ depending upon what level of service you require and how you choose to sell your products. For an example of how on-line malls may serve you, check out http://www.gourmetfoodmall.com.
