Feedback
Asking for feedback from the people who visit your website is an excellent method to determine what changes should be made to your site. You can either implement an email or form system for visitors to use to provide their comments to you. An email system is easy to integrate. However, you won't be able to structure the type of feedback you're looking for. On the other hand, if you decide to develop a form, keep it simple. Visitors will be less likely to fill it out if it looks like it will take a long time or appears confusing. Also consider allowing the sender to give you their contact information if they wish to hear back from you.
Ask for feedback from the people who visit your website. You can do this either by allowing site
visitors to send you an email or to have them fill out a feedback form. Penn State University's College
of Agricultural Sciences has a very simple but nice form that site visitors can fill out to send their
comments about the website to the site administrator ( http://www.cas.psu.edu/ContactUs.html). The
form allows the user to provide a phone number and/or address where they can be reached if they
desire. Notice that only three questions are asked; two are choice answers while the third is open-
ended.
