Module 2: e-Tailing is about Selling and a Whole Lot More

Learning Objectives:

    • Recognize the value of having commerce, content and community in a single etail
      site
    • Identify steps in the pre-purchase stage, including how to influence and empower
      customers
    • Identify steps in the post-purchase stages, including the balance between
      encouraging repeat customers and spam

It seems simple enough – create a Web site with your products and sell them to customers that visit your site. In reality, however, it is far more complicated than that. There are three C's you must consider to make your online store a success:
