Where Does the Website Fit In?

This diagram may help determine where the committee envisions the website to fit. Think about which community sectors are heavily involved: government, business, community groups, education?

For many groups, the knee-jerk reaction might be to default to “5” or “Quality of Life”. What does that mean? In this case, it means that all of the components outlined here will be covered in some way.

If your vision, mission and goals fall elsewhere, this is the time to think again about who needs to be at the table. Perhaps “Workforce Development” is first and foremost in committee member’s minds. Do you have Education and Business adequately represented?
