e-Education

E-education (or e-learning) is not so much focused on the internal operations of education (as is the case with e-government). Before finalizing the plans for these pages, it is critical that you assess what is already available. If the local schools already have a site which provides information for students, parents and potential residents then all that may be necessary is some strategic links.

Think broadly about community education opportunities. You may choose to include information on local libraries (or at least links to those sites). Workshops and classes available to community members in gardening, health care, financial management and arts are regularly offered in communities.
