Content Types

There are some important trade-offs that you need to consider here.

Static content is generally inexpensive to develop and requires minimal effort to maintain. But be warned: It also has the potential to be …well, boring.

Dynamic content is more complicated, can be costly and requires regular updating. Designed properly, a website that has some dynamic features can capture interest and allow the user to ‘customize’ their experience a bit.

Fortunately, you do not have to build a site that is all static or all dynamic. Refer back to your goals and your target audience. What is the information you intend to provide? Who will be viewing it?
